I like to work closely with each wedding couple to fully understand individual requirements and to ensure the true essence of the wedding is captured in their images.

Before the event, I spend time exploring the venue and talking with the bride and groom to work out the best way to document the day from start to finish. I aim to provide a complete record from preparations through to the first dance, photographing not only the main events but also all the little details which make your day unique and to reflect this in images that you will cherish forever.

The best photographs of people are when they are happy and relaxed, sometimes that may mean candid shots other times the subject may know they are being photographed, either way the aim is to achieve a natural look.

To ensure consistency all weddings are personally photographed by Matt Smith with only one wedding photographed per day and a limited number shot each year, dates do fill quickly so please contact me to confirm availability.
